Test engineer wanted for great position in Utrecht
The Test engineer is responsible for overall product quality and quality of products received from external parties. Specifically this means responsibility for the test strategy, test plans, regression test, security test, performance test, stress test, scalability test, supporting user test and automated testing. Besides these core activities it"s important to have an efficient and effective testing organisation with clear, complete and timely reporting to the IT Manager. The standard testing approach used is TMap with an additional attention point on software development process support (for example co-ordination of code reviews). The last responsibility of the Test engineer is a continues check of the performance of all live systems and reporting to the IT Manager.

Your home base is the head office in Utrecht, the Netherlands (walking distance from Central Station).

Responsibilities and Tasks
• Developing/ maintaining testing procedures
Creating and maintaining testing procedures and make sure these procedures are part of all projects and software.
• Quality standards
Develop and maintain quality standards for IT projects and live systems. These quality standards should be integrated in all IT processes.
• Documentation
Prepare all different tests with the proper templates and documentation. All test results should also be properly documented. The documentation has to be archived properly.
• Reporting
Regular reporting regarding tests of projects, SR"s and live systems. For reporting templates will be used and kept up-to-date for present needs.
• Testing
The test engineer is responsible for performing tests including planning and reporting. For all tests a clear approach will be defined and processed as planned.

Education / Experience
• A Bachelor or University degree
• Minimal 3 years testing working experience
• Fluent in English. Skilled in Dutch is very much appreciated
• Experience with web development
• Experience with MS Office
• Experience with Linux, Apache, MySql, JAVA
• Experience with (automated) testing tools and reporting tools
• Experience with TMAP

Hoe ziet jouw werk eruit?

Als Tibco-consultant zorg jij voor ontwikkeling, onderhoud, beheer en optimalisatie van EAI en/of BPI services van de klanten van onze opdrachtgever. Daarnaast ontsluit je back-end-systemen en integreer je bedrijfsprocessen. Vanzelfsprekend gebruik je daarbij diverse Tibco-producten (zoals BusinessWorks, BusinessEvents, iProcess, JMS, RendezVous en Administrator). De ene dag werk je in een team, de andere dag ben je een individuele consultant. Maar altijd creëer je de beste oplossing voor integratie, internet, e-commerce en messaging middleware. Jouw werk is uitdagend; je krijgt dagelijks met allerlei technologieën en processen te maken. Het belangrijkst is dat je samenwerkt met de klanten van onze opdrachtgever om tot de voor hen meest efficiënte oplossing te komen. Daarbij heb je verschillende rollen, bijvoorbeeld als technisch of business consultant zijn, of als teamlead of projectleider. Elke opdracht die je uitvoert als Tibco-consultant wordt ten slotte gekenmerkt door kennisdeling en kennisborging.

Ben jij dit?

Onze opdrachtgever is op zoek naar een echte Tibco-specialist, die:
• een hbo- of wo-diploma op zak heeft, uiteraard gericht op ICT,
• alles weet van computersystemen, sofware en ICT-architectuur,
• ervaring heeft met projecten,
• EAI, BPM en SOA architectuurprincipes, implementatiemethoden en softwareontwikkeltools kent,
• een kei is in Java-softwareontwikkeling,
• al zeker drie jaar ervaring heeft in een ICT-omgeving en dat het liefst in een EAI/BPM-rol,
• ten minste twee jaar werkt met implementatie en configuratie in zeker vier Tibco-producten (zoals: Tibco BusinessWorks (v5.0 en hoger), Tibco iProcess (v10 en hoger), Tibco EMS, Tibco RendezVous, Tibco BusinessEvents, Tibco GI (v3.0 en hoger), Tibco Administrator, diverse Tibco adapters (SAP, DB, file), Tibco Business Studio of Tibco Active Matrix).

Kennen communicatieprotocollen zoals SOAP daarnaast geen geheimen voor jou en ben jij een kei in het vertalen van functionele vereisten naar technische specificaties? Dan wil onze opdrachtgever jou graag leren kennen.

Het is bovendien mooi meegenomen als jij:
• ervaring hebt met het uitvoeren van GAP-analyses,
• weet hoe je end-to-endoplossingen moet ontwikkelen,
• kunt werken met Linux, Unix en NT operating systems,
• ook nog gecertificeerd bent op een van de genoemde Tibco-producten.
