Senior Agile JAVA / JEE Developer
This is a great opportunity for a Java EE / JEE developer who wants to work in an international SCRUM environment in the centre of Utrecht.

What will you be doing?
The primary focus is on the delivery of technology solutions. Role includes building software while working together with experienced Java developers and business users to insure the team builds the "right" thing.
As a Java Developer you have solid Java and SQL skills from commercial working experience. In addition you have knowledge and understanding of front-end technologies, but most importantly you should be eager to learn and be passionate about delivering quality products.

Responsibilities and Tasks
• Perform analysis, design, implementation and testing of Java and JEE software related to our services and websites
• Work with business users to verify that technical solutions meet requirements
• Participate in and help to improve our Scrum process and work methods in general
• Work with direction from senior developers and coach junior developers

Your profile:
As a Java developer you should hold an IT related Bachelor or Masters degree and have good knowledge and/or experience with Agile development and the Scrum methodology.
In addition you should:
• take responsibility and commit to deliverables and team results;
• have a passion for software engineering and internet developments in general;
• be focused on quality and take pride in delivering quality results;
• have strong analytical skills;

Tools
Experienced in working with the following tools is required:
• Java;
• JUnit/TestNG;
• SEAM;
• XML;
• Hibernate;
• MySQL;
• Subversion;
• HTML/CSS/JavaScript and JQuery

Methodology
• Scrum/Agile;
• TDD;
• Pair Programming
